The year, 1983. The city, New York. Can you guess who these regular attendees of the Rubens Deli Sessions are? Those were great sessions. You never knew who was going to show up. I would always start out at Tannens (which was on Times Square at that time), hang out with Mike Gallo who worked there; chat with Frank Garcia who was there almost every Saturday, then head down to the session. Dropping out of high school and moving to Manhatten would set in motion a series of adventures that hasn't stopped in over 20 years.
