That's Richard Ross, and the capture is taken 1973 in Paris at the FISM, where he did win his first Grand Prix. I've that capture myself on a VHS-tape transfered to DVD..
Actually I was present in the audience when he did that act..

*The Magic Hands* from Germany also published an authorised version (RR wrote it) book with RRs routine.. I think it's still available you can f.ex. check 'magicbooks by post' in the UK..
Tom, At first I almost said that was Ger Copper, who I was fortunate enough to see several times here in the states and who was an accomplished close-up artist too (and did a killer cups & ball routine). Then of course I realized it was Richard Ross.
