More PCAM

The PCAM was a huge success!!! Congratulations to Brian
Cook and the excellent team of people assembled to carry
out this daunting challenge. As far as I could see, it
came off without a hitch.


It was great seeing so many of your smiling faces! There
were shows, lectures and dealers during the days and the
late nights were filled with sessions. What more could you
ask for?

Rather than go through the schedule and list the performers,
I 'd like to encourage those of you who attended to report
on the experiences that were most meaningful to you
personally.

I may take a few posts to debrief my account of the Wed. -
Sat. PCAM 2004

I'll start off by saying that one of the highlights of the
convention was spending so much time with Danny Sylvester.
I had forgot what a true genius he is. His performances
and lecture were great. We talked about the good old days
when we lived together in LA in "86" & "87". We told Buster
stories all about Dan the Man and Tom the Bomb. We were
the young Turks at the Magic Castle and tore up the town.
It was a joy seeing how far he had come. His unique brand
of magical comedy will no doubt go down in the history of
our art. If you were lucky enough to have made his 9:30AM
lecture on creativity, then you know what a treat it was to
get inside his head for a couple of hours. I for one, was
inspired about his message to look at what your doing and
take it a few steps farther in a direction that no one else
has.

When I see Dan, it seems as though no time has passed since
our last meeting. He is my soul brother, I am lucky man.
