Confusion. . . is good. . . I guess. . . I don't know!
Well, fuck me. Running around like a chicken with no head. Not sure if I'm coming or going. I've been making a priority of finding a new place to live. Today I've looked at a a real shit hole for $695 a month (2 bedroom artist loft in an industrial district) and a beautiful 3 bedroom house in Issaquah for $1,395.
In a few minutes I'll be off again to see a 2 bedroom house in West Seattle for $1,250 per month. Yesterday Buster and I looked a couple of houses in Kirkland that were under a grand a month. Lots of options, just need to figure it all out. I am giving this letter to my landlord on my way out. The response to this letter could change my timetable a bit.

Dear Sue,
Thank you for your time this afternoon.
As I explained to you, my name is Tom Frank and I have been living in unit 611 for the last year.
I owned a Magic Shop down the hill in Pioneer Square until it closed last month. Although I am paid up through the end of my lease, at the moment I cannot afford the $1,500 I am paying.
I gave my notice to leave my apartment at the end of July weeks ago. But wanted to see what you thought of this proposal.
As I really like living here, given the opportunity to get back on my feet financially, perhaps we could work out a short term solution.
At the moment I can only afford $1,000 a month, that?s it. I would like to stay in the apartment for the next 90 days at $1,000 a month (this would include my regular parking space). At the end of the 90 days, I hope that my earnings will be back on track and that I will be able to afford to stay in my apartment at the $1,450 rate + $50 for the garage.
Please let me know as soon as you can as I am actively looking for other places to live.
Thank you for your time, interest and support and I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
Sincerely,
Tom Frank
