Bringing entertainment to those who bring entertainment

Sunday I had some strong street performances at the Pike Place Market "Busker Festival"

After one of my shows, an englishman introduced himself to me and asked if I would be in town on Tuesday. I said I would and he told me that he would like to hire me for a private party at Lowell's. 2 hours of strolling magic for an international audience of entertainment providers for the airlines; the people that place the movies, radio, magazines etc. on the planes. An interesting gig that went very well. The guy who runs Lowell's (a popular seafood restaurant at the market) took me aside and told me that he liked my work. He was impressed that I could effectively entertain a large table of Japanese folks that spoke little or no english. He asked for my card and said that occasionally there were private parties that might like a little magic.

I felt very good and went home to make a salad and watch the season premier of NYPD Blue. During my TV show a neighbor (two houses away) stopped by. Her name was was Kathryn and she said that she was a bit drunk. She asked if I wanted to come over and socialize. I told her that I was eating and watching a TV program. I aked her If I could come over when I was done. She said 20 minutes, I said maybe another time.

Am I missing something here, am I just plain stupid or has my year and a half of no sex dulled my sword.

All I know is I am lonely and unhappy.
