A voice from the past

Every so often I get an email from someone out of the blue. Someone I haven't been in touch with in years. Today I had the pleasant surprise of an email from none other than Polly Lucke! Polly and I attended the School for the Creative and Performing Arts back in Cincinnati a lifetime ago. We lived in the same neighborhood as kids and our paths crossed for years. Polly has always been a very special person to me and I'm very excited to be back in touch with her!

She's been in LA for years doing hair and make-up for the TV show "Scrubs". We had a nice chat on the phone this morning and I hope we keep in touch.

It's funny the strange coincidences life throws your way. Polly said that she was enthralled with a song over the weekend that she had never heard. The song was "Spring can really hang you out the most". Then she searched the web for the song. In my first email back to her this AM I gave her the url to my blog and she was surprised to find it there. Crazy huh?
